Blue Flume Closure:

Our blue flume is closed for scheduled maintenance. Our phones are currently not working but our centre and other facilities are open as usual. We’re working hard to ensure everything is in top shape, and we’ll keep you updated on when it will be back open. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pool Closure:

As part of the ongoing investment in the facilities, we are preparing to upgrade the moveable floor in the swimming pool. Unfortunately, this vital work means our pool will temporarily close from Monday 4 November until the New Year.

  • All children and adults at risk whatever their age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation or identity have a right to protection from abuse

We will seek to keep children and adults at risk safe by:

  • Recruiting all our staff and volunteers carefully, ensuring Disclosure & Barring Service checks are undertaken as appropriate, and they hold relevant qualifications and certification.
  • Ensuring all staff receive safeguarding training to ensure they recognise the signs of abuse and accept responsibility for helping to prevent the abuse of children and adults at risk in their care.
  • Ensuring that clubs and hirers have safeguarding measures in place as appropriate.
  • Appointing a designated ‘Safeguarding Lead Manager’ who will take specific responsibility for safeguarding and act as the main point of contact for parents, families, carers, children and external agencies.
  • Providing parents, families, carers and children with the opportunity to voice any concerns they may have.• Responding swiftly and appropriately to all suspicions or allegations of abuse, utilising our safeguarding procedure to manage any allegations appropriately.
